CCS £2bn big data and analytics framework goes live
Technological breakthroughs and the ever-increasing volume of data are revolutionizing business practices across industries, and the government sector is no exception. The federal government, state governments, and the public sector as a whole are becoming more and more aware of how valuable big data can be, and it is now an integral part of critical decision-making. In an attempt to bridge this gap of analytics in the government sector, the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has developed a big data and analytics framework worth up to £2 billion and this framework is going to provide big data and analytics services to different departments of the public sector including local authorities, health, police, fire and rescue, education, and the devolved administrations.
