The healthcare client approached Sparity, intending to transform their transcription capabilities. The healthcare client was using expensive in-house medical transcriptionists (MTs). However, the transcription was transcribed manually, which is prone to human error and leads to an increase in the cost of operation. Sparity acted quickly and implemented speech recognition technology to convert the spoken word of the doctor to written text from models developed solely from the medical transcription environment that can be stored in the cloud.
